This trail begins in the parish of Lajedo, ends in Fajã Grande and has the estimated time of about 2.5 hours. Along the trail you can observe the western coast of Flores island and the adjacent islets. The trail passes by the parishes of Mosteiro, Fajãzinha and Ribeira Grande, until it reaches Fajã Grande, where it ends. Generally, the trail runs on an unpaved track, with some stone and tarmac areas, mainly in the localities. This trail crosses a Special Protection Area (SPA) and, for this reason, we all have not only the responsibility of contributing to its protection, but also of ensuring its biodiversity through the conservation of this natural habitat.
